I. OBJECTIVES:

1. To learn how to use A-to-D converters to digitize signals from analog input devices.
2. To learn how to write a C language program that samples the data from an analog device, digitizes it and formats it for output on an LCD.
3. To become more proficient in programming displays for real-time operation.
